A Presidential Plenary
Last minute adjustments are an anticipated part of the event planning process, however a visit from the current President comes with a whole unique set of challenges. In the process of planning a four-day convention with 10,000 attendees, we learned President Barack Obama would be participating in the plenary session in an interview that would be broadcast live on CNN. We were given 36 hours’ notice (which was also right in the midst of the convention) to make it happen. Our team set to work and we were live and on air without a moment to spare.
Security with a Twist and a time crunch
Safety is of the utmost importance in all of our events. Whether it was Pitbull dropping in to congratulate his best friend during an awards ceremony or Secretary DeVos appearing to speak in D.C. during an unsettling time in her administration, we have handled a number of unique security scenarios with varying protocols, all with the same unobtrusive outcome.

A Bang on a Budget
Impressive and eye-catching set design doesn’t have to break the bank. No matter if a plenary session is for 200 or 10,000 attendees, we are able to leverage our aggregate purchasing ability and multi-task required AV equipment to stay within the budget while setting the stage for a memorable experience. Utilizing equipment, lighting, and static elements that we already have in place (and in budget), we are able to completely change the look and feel of a plenary session room.

Sensational Special Events
We love working on memorable special events that leave a lasting impression. From block parties in Austin, surprise flash mob dancing in Nashville, black tie galas to all-out parades—that’s right, a real parade with floats and performances down the streets of New Orleans—no matter what our clients envision, we make it happen.
Engaging Exhibit Halls
The exhibit hall and sponsorships are some of the largest revenue streams for many of our clients. With this in mind, we have helped create highly-engaging exhibit halls that both educated and entertained attendees, as well as made a positive impact on sponsor relationships. In one scenario, with the need to increase foot traffic by 30%, we installed a central hub that contained interactive activities such as: a U.S. map photo booth, a therapeutic puppy station, a studio filming section, and more.
Gala Venues Transformed
Whether it’s the Reagan Building entrance, the National Building Museum, the grand ballroom at the D.C. Ritz Carlton, or the National Museum of African American History, we can transform any facility into an evening for the ages.
Parking Garage Dining
With no additional space for a seated meal, a covered parking garage became the perfect place to transform into a very useful banquet hall in one of Washington D.C.’s most historical hotels. Beyond creating a comfortable space by working with a decorator, we also thought through every aspect of the unique logistics, getting approval from the D.C. fire marshal and creating a designated space where serving staff could keep food warm despite being away from the kitchen. This event provided us an opportunity to execute a truly creative solution from start to finish.
